    Bangladesh admits that the total number of martyrs in 1971 was 3 million. Renowned historian Muntassir Mamoon critically examines their claims and points out the futility of these claims. On the contrary, he demonstrates that the number of martyrs will exceed 3 million based on recent research and surveys. As a result, this numerical debate is, in fact, of no use at all except a lucrative invented academic discussion and populist but useless political debate.
