Md. Masood Imran graduated in Archaeology from the Department of Archaeology at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is currently a professor there. He achieved the Excellent Student Scholarship Award 2018, at Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan. He did his Ph.D. in Cultural Creation Course (Cultural Anthropology), TAOYAKA Programme at the Hiroshima University. This book is his dissertation from that program. The author also is an adjunct faculty of the Department of History & Philosophy at North South University, Dhaka, the School of Social Science at the Independent University of Bangladesh, and Pathshala: South Asian Media Studies.
