This is the story of Jake, a boy whose curiosity never falters, and his friends as they travel across space and time. The story begins when Jake is only twelve years old. Living a strange life under strange circumstances, Jake grows up to be a brilliant seventeen year old who is always prepared for the worst. It is then when the world faces an unprecedented danger, leading to an apocalypse. Jake, who has already faced loss and grief, cannot think of losing his friends too. How far does he go, and what sacrifices does he undergo to save the ones he loves? The story is, simply put, a bildungsroman filled with adventure, intrigue and mystery. However it is also a tale of friendship, love and the inner workings of fate.
Abrar Ahmed
Abrar Ahmed was born on the 20th of June, 2005 in Dhaka. He started his schooling in Clayton North Primary School, Melbourne, Australia. He is a student of Grade 9 in Playpen International School, Bashundhara. Abrar is the only son of Dr. Sams Ahmed and Dr. Lutfunnahar Piki. Both his parents being writers, Abrar gets his inspiration from them. This is Abrar's first published book. He also writes short stories, which have been published in several newspapers. Besides writing, Abrar's hobbies include graphic designing, video editing, programming and making videos on YouTube. He is also pursuing French language courses with the Alliance Française de Dhaka.
