Shazia Omar
Shazia Omar is an active member of the writing community in Bangladesh. She founded Writers Block, a collective that published many of the first pieces of literature in English from Dhaka between 2006 and 2016. She curated dozens of literary events at Red Shift Café and hosted numerous writing workshops and lit soirees. She founded Pen Warriors, a platform to help emerging writers find their voices. She has written three books, one play and numerous short stories.
