Salma A Shafi
Salma A. Shafi is an architect and urban planner. She works on urban planning issues and is a core member of the Center for Urban Studies, Dhaka. Ms. Shafi did her MSc in Urban Planning, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, and has a BArch from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She specializes in urban research, land tenure issues, housing, and environmental planning. Her works include The Inclusive City, Infrastructure and Public Services for the Urban Poor in Asia (Woodrow Wilson Centre Press, Washington, DC, and Johns Hopkins University Press, Baltimore). She is the Project Advisor of Urbis: The Urban Capacity Laboratory Programme.
