Dhruba Kumar is Professor of Political Science at the Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. He was FCO Fellow at the Department of War Studies, King's College London, England; Ford Visiting Scholar at the Programme in Arms Control, Disarmament and International Security, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA; and Visiting Fellow at the Faculty of Asian and International Studies, Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. He has also served on contract as a Professor at IDEC, Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan.
