Henry B. Perry is an international public health specialist whose major focus of interest is community-based primary healthcare. He worked in Bangladesh from 1994 until 1999 with the International Center for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh, with the global USAID-financed BASICS Project (Basic Support for Institutionalizing Child Survival), and with the World Bank. He holds honorary faculty appointments in the Department of International Health at Emory University and at Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
