Walden Bello

Walden Bello is Director of Focus on the Global South and heads its Global and Regional Paradigms programme. He is Professor of Sociology and Public Administration at the University of the Philippines in Manila and is the author of numerous books, including The Siamese Tragedy: Development and Disintegration in Modern Thailand (Zed Books, 1998), Dragons in Distress (Food First, 1990) and Dark Victory: the United States, Structural Adjustment and Global Poverty (Food First, 1994). Nicola Bullard Nicola Bullard is Deputy Director of Focus on the Global South. She has worked extensively with non-government organisations and trade unions. Kamal Malhotra Kamal Malhotra was Co-Director of Focus on the Global South, 1994-9, and is Currently a Senior Adviser in The Social Policy and Poverty Eradication Division of the United Nations Development Programme.
