Born in 1908 in the Feni district of modern day Bangladesh, Jalal-ud-Din Ahmad was the first graduate of his village. He is the founding Headmaster of Ataturk High School, Daganbhuiyan, where he spent the first half of his professional life, establishing the school on a sound foundation, and producing students who achieved national renown in academics and sports. For the second half of his professional life, Headmaster Ahmad worked tirelessly to transform a war-ravaged Feni High School into the present Feni Government Pilot High School, winning national acclaim for his students, himself, and his school along the way.
