Neeman Ahmad Sobhan is from Bangladesh. She came to the US at the age of nineteen and has lived an expatriate's life since then. She did her B.A and M.A in Comparative and English Literature from the University of Maryland in the U.S. Since 1978 she has been living in Rome, Italy, with her husband and two sons, working as a journalist and columnist. Ginda Simpson, painter-writer, has exhibited her work internationally. Her first book, 'Morning of Light' was a personal journal of stories and paintings. of her life in Egypt where she lived for several years. Her second book 'Deeply Rooted' concerns her return to her family roots in Italy and making her home in Umbria, where she lives presently and runs a bed-and breakfast with her husband.
