Rubaiya Murshed graduated from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka, and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Cambridge. She was a member, volunteer, and tutor at the Cambridge Refugee Resettlement Campaign (CRRC). She was a teacher at Sunnydale school shortly before joining as a lecturer at the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. Rubaiya is a regular contributor to The Daily Star and The Dhaka Tribune. She became a part of the Bot-tola School, a project that tried to benefit the children featured in this book. She is the co-founder of the Blue Roses Foundation, an organization that focuses on the needs of underprivileged children. Nobody’s Children is her first book, and she wants to share her passion and inspiration for the children who deserve a better life.
