The CSO Alliance is the top-level coalition of various Civil Society Platforms and its independent civil society organisations (CSOs) in Bangladesh. Established to amplify the collective voice and impact of CSOs, the Alliance is dedicated to forwarding a robust and dynamic civil society capable of driving meaningful social change. It excels in advocacy, capacity building, and strategic networking, navigating complex policy environments to support CSO-friendly policies and promoting a unified voice. The Alliance also strengthens its members by analysing funding landscapes, engaging strategically with stakeholders and development partners, and offering specialised training programs. Beyond national activities, it actively participates in global networks, advocating for the rights and interests of communities on international platforms. This study, titled 50 Years of Bangladesh’s Independence: Legacies of Civil Society Organizations on Socio-economic Change, captures the Alliance’s dedication to documenting and enhancing the pivotal role of CSOs in Bangladesh’s development journey.
