Syed Giasuddin Ahmed

Dr. Syed Giasuddin Ahmed is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Jatiya Kabi Nazrul Islam University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He served before as a Professor of Public Administration at Dhaka University. He obtained an MPA from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland in Australia as a Colombo Plan Scholar. He has published several books and research monographs on public administration, political science, local government, personal administration, and civil service management. He has about fifty articles and chapters published in both Bangladeshi and international journals/edited volumes.
