Aditya Kumar Dewan is an anthropologist who grew up in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. His PhD thesis from McGill University (1991) deals with class and ethnicity in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Since then he was written on issues of development and environment in the region. At present he teaches at Concordia University and Dawson College in Montreal (Quebec, Canada).
