Waresul Karim

Waresul Karim completed his BCom (Hons.) in 1986 and MCom degree in 1988 from Dhaka University. He joined the Faculty at the Department of Finance and Banking at the same university in 1991 and later he proceeded to the University of Leeds in the UK and was awarded Ph.D in 1995 under a Commonwealth Scholarship. Dr. Karim rejoined Dhaka University in 1995 where he continued working until 1997 when he was offered a teaching position at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Dr. Karim has now returned to the Department of Finance and Banking at the University of Dhaka. He has published extensively in academic and professional journals at home and abroad.
