The Law of Civil Procedure: A Case-Based Approach by Md. Golam Mostofa Hasan is a practice-oriented textbook that offers a systematic guide to navigating civil procedural law in Bangladesh. Organised chronologically according to the actual stages of a civil suit—from pre-trial preparation to trial and post-trial enforcement—the book bridges the gap between academic theory and courtroom realities. Using an innovative case-based method, the text utilises the acclaimed IRAC framework to analyse landmark decisions from the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. This visual and pedagogical approach is enhanced by flowcharts, summary tables, and diagrams, making complex procedural mechanisms highly accessible for students and young legal professionals. Crucially, this work incorporates major legislative updates, including the Code of Civil Procedure (Amendment) Act 2026 and the Civil Courts (Amendment) Act 2026. By integrating enhanced pecuniary jurisdictions and updated court nomenclatures, it stands as the most up-to-date reference on the administration of civil justice in Bangladesh.
