Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem
Khondaker Golam Moazzem is a prominent economist and Research Director at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Bangladesh, where he has held various leadership roles since 2003. With over two decades of experience in policy-oriented research, Dr. Moazzem’s expertise spans industrial dynamics, developmental economics, and area studies, with an expanding focus on climate policy, green energy transition, labour rights, and social protection. He earned his Ph.D. in Area Studies from Kyoto University, Japan, and holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Dhaka. His professional journey includes serving as a visiting fellow at Kyoto University and a faculty member at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM).
