Bob Pokrant

Dr. Bob Pokrant is Associate Professor of Anthropology in the Faculty of Media, Society and Culture at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. He is currently Deputy Director of the South Asia Research Unit at Curtin University, where he is engaged in research on the Bangladesh shrimp sector within the global food system. Over the past 30 years he has taught both undergraduates and graduates in the UK, USA, Canada, Nigeria, Sweden, Bangladesh, and Australia and has carried out research in Nigeria, India, Bangladesh, and Europe.
