Masud Mahmood, is Professor of English at the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He specializes in American Puritan Studies and teaches modern British and American poetry. Besides numerous essays in scholarly journals, he has co-published Selected Poems of Abul Hasan from Bangla Academy and contributed translations of Bangla poetry to several anthologies.
