Professor Abul Khair Jalaluddin is a former UNDP/UNESCO international adviser to the government of Bangladesh, is currently providing technical assistance to BRAC's innovative Chandina Learning Improvement Project (CLIP). He is internationally known for his contribution in the field of basic education and had earlier held learning positions in several institutions, including the Maulana Azad Center for social and Elementary Education at Delhi University and the National Council of Educational Research and training (NCERT), New Delhi. Dr. Jalaluddin jointly with Dr. Manzoor Ahmed has authored Basic Education and National Development-lessons from China and India (UNICEF, 1992).
