Dr. Abu Jafar Mohammad Sufian obtained his bachelor and masters in Statistics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Ph.D from Michigan State University,U.S.A. He taught in the Department of Statistics, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, and at King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He published widely in many professional journals of international repute. He authored the book Methods and Techniques of Social Research.  He is currently a Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at the University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain.
